How do I set boundaries in a relationship?

Boundaries are the limits you set about what you are comfortable with in a relationship. They can relate to physical affection, sex, communication, time, privacy, finances, cultural expectations and personal space.

Setting boundaries starts with being honest about your needs and communicating them clearly. In a healthy relationship, a partner will listen to and respect your boundaries. Remember that boundaries can change over time, and it is okay to talk about them again as your relationships change.
